The Chrome Mercy Story
Chrome Mercy didn’t begin with a grand plan.
It started with a steering wheel.
Years ago, while trying to restore the wheel on a 1999 Legnum, the search for someone to retrim it properly went nowhere. Every shop had the same answer; they didn’t want the job. Steering wheels were too intricate, too time-consuming, and too easy to get wrong.
So the only option left was to learn how to do it.
What began as a single project quickly turned into something much deeper. Upholstery revealed itself as a craft built on patience, knowledge, and an eye for detail that most people never see. Material composition, colour pairings, panel symmetry and finishing techniques – small things that completely change how an interior feels.
Project by project, the work grew. So did the obsession with doing it properly.
When the studio expanded and was reimagined as Chrome Mercy, the goal became simple: build a place where the craft is respected, the work speaks for itself, and clients know they can trust the process.
Today, Chrome Mercy collaborates with collectors, builders, and genuine enthusiasts who care about the same things we do. Interiors with personality, finishes that last, and details that make a car feel truly complete.

Our Philosophy
Three principles guide how we approach every interior we create.
Work With Passion
Every project begins with genuine enthusiasm for the craft. If you don’t care about the details, you shouldn’t be doing the work.
Design Without Limits
Interiors should reflect the owner’s imagination, personality, and vision. No templates, no copy-paste designs.
Execute With Precision
Quality takes time. The smallest details have the biggest impact, and getting them right is the standard we hold ourselves to.
